Stone quarry workers extracting large natural stone blocks from hillside quarry face
01

Pulled from the Earth

Our quarry teams work three active sites across the region — hand-selecting stone with the face character that makes each type distinct. No two slabs are identical.

02

Shaped at the Yard

Split, sawn, tumbled, or thermaled on-site. Our mill produces thin veneer, full-body slabs, and dimensional pavers to spec — not to a catalog.

From the Field

What architects, contractors,
and homeowners say.

"

Quarry is the only supplier where I can spec a custom slab dimension on Monday and have it on the truck by Thursday. That kind of turnaround changes how I write specs.

I've sourced stone from six different suppliers over the years. Quarry is the only one where the person answering the phone actually knows what a freeze-thaw cycle does to a 3/4-inch veneer.

We were standing in a gutted kitchen with no idea what material would work. The quiz sent us three options — we picked the Mesa Quartzite, ordered samples, and never looked back.

Not sure where
to begin?

Five questions. Three recommendations. One call from a rep who already knows your project — not reading from a catalog.

Call the Yard

Common Questions

Things people ask
before they call.

Do you sell to homeowners, or only to the trade?

Both. Homeowners are welcome at our yard and through this site. Trade accounts (architects, GCs, designers) qualify for volume pricing schedules and priority delivery windows — ask about our trade program when you call or submit the quiz.

How do I know which stone will hold up in my climate?

The "Find Your Stone" quiz routes you by climate zone as step two. Generally: freeze-thaw climates require 2%+ absorption ratings; arid regions can use more porous material; coastal applications benefit from thermal or honed finishes that resist salt penetration.

What's the lead time for custom dimensions?

Standard stock ships within 48 hours regionally. Custom-cut slabs, non-standard thicknesses, and special finishes typically run 5–10 business days from order confirmation. Rush orders (3-day) are available for an upcharge — call the yard directly.

Can I order samples before committing to a full pallet?

Yes. Every product page has a "Request Sample" button. Samples are 6×6 chips, shipped free to your address or available for yard pickup. We ask that you limit sample requests to five products per project.

Do you have installers, or do I source my own?

We don't install, but we maintain a regional referral list of vetted masons and hardscape contractors who know our material. Ask your sales rep for the list when you place an order.

What's the difference between thin veneer and full-body stone?

Thin veneer (¾"–1¼") is adhered to a substrate — faster to install, lighter load on the structure, ideal for facades and interior accent walls. Full-body stone (2"–8"+) is structural or semi-structural — used for pavers, treads, retaining walls, and anywhere the stone takes load or spans a gap.
